Dark Analog Drone

Post by forcedopinion » Fri Apr 24, 2015 5:10 pm

I recorded this live last night to cassette. A dark drone/ambient track I'll be playing live.

Instruments - Novation Bass Station II, Maximal Drone, E-MU Orbit, E-MU Proteus 1, Roland JV-1010. Sequenced with a Roland MC-50.

Very nice. :) Sounded like the signal overloaded in a couple of places, but nice drone work.
Where will you be performing live?

Nice, though I think the arpeggio is possibly a bit to clean and dry sounding?

5/18 at Kremwerk in Seattle
5/28 at turnturnturn in Portland
And probably 2-3 gigs in California in June (Oakland, LA, maybe central coast area)

I'm still working on the sounds and arrangement, I just needed to record the jams so I don't forget them.

Nice. Nice.

sounds cool. reminiscent of pink floyd to me but unique in its own way. The mixing is really clear! for something you did in one night!
