Re: Garranimal's Tracks
I'm really into the chords and atmosphere of BSaM. The imagery of lightening and vehicles fits perfectly. It's eerie and powerful, a little bit sad, but exciting. What did you use on this?
This looks like a psychotropic reaction. No wonder it's so popular...

Thanks! I used my eurorack mostly.ninja6485 wrote:What did you use on this?
Here's an elaboration from the vid description.
Multi-tracked in DAW Cubase SX3 as master clock
Sequencing was done in Beatstep Pro w/ TR-606 sync'd to it.
606 has some RE-20 delay, comp'd by DBX 160A
Arpeggio pitch CV comes from Pittsburgh MIDI3 module in ARP mode, but triggers from Beatstep
Arpeggios was also getting Octave shifts from Disting in precision adder mode.
Arpeggio voicing is the Pittsburgh Synth Box going through the Dopefer SEM filter module, through Timefactor
Other Percussion at 0:27 (brush snare sound) and 3:13 (metallic click) are DNA Symbiotic Waves thru LPG of Synth Box and on to Deflector Shield frequency shifter.
Bass was MS-20 w/ Timefactor delay
Bass note shifts done on the fly using Beatstep
Choirs/Strings VP-03 some tweaking like fades and pitch shifting. Reverb was Big Sky on that.
that was probably more than you wanted to know

EDIT: oh, and in case you were asking about the video - I use Premiere Elements to put that together.

Re: Garranimal's Tracks
Actually I'm down w/ hay fever but I managed to bang this one out. Right after I tweeted last night about not feeling the groove. That's how these things happen
