What happened to the Blofeld?

Any Waldorf insiders on the forum that know anything about when the Blofeld will be hitting the street? I really want to buy one this summer, but I'm not sure if the initial release dates and price estimates are still accurate. I don't think they're have been any updates from waldorf since the winter NAMM.

The OS was not yet complete, some features are still in development. So I'm afraid we won't see it soon...

I put that link thru Google Translator and this is the first line:

This post (http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/2007/04 ... egacy.html) has some details, I'm thinking from the comments that it's best to expect a sucessor to the microQ, although I'm holding out hope that the wavetables can be edited...

Blofeld got shot in many James Bond films. But always reappeared a couple films later. So the synth will too, I'm sure of it

I was pretty sure I was going to buy one of these and contacted Novamusik in March to be put on their waiting list for one. They told me then they would see some for sale in a month and would cost right around $500. Three months later they are still waiting. I got to reading more about it on the Waldorf forum and learned that Waldorf are still kinda fooling around with what Blofeld is going to be. The gist of the board around early April was that Waldorf were still trying to hammer out the final details.
