bass synth on Peter Gabriel's Secret World

Post by West_Berliner » Fri Jun 15, 2007 11:03 pm

hey everyone
I was wondering if anyone knew what synth Peter used for the bass in the song "Secret World"
I've been trying to get a similar sound on my nord modular, but i cant seem to get it...
im talking about the arpeggiated synth you hear during the verses :)

any ideas?

Thanx!

I just listened to it again, and i listened to the live version, and both would appear to be tony playing his bass with his sticks, which gives it that sharper clickier attack, which i assumed was a synth. that's cool! thanx!

ill look around for that video on youtube! :) thanx for the heads-up!
