Oh yeah, Kaoss Pad II with no pwr supply for free. I suppose they still might ask for that $40 some day, but it would still be a good deal.
so what do I put down here now?

man, some disgusting deals here!

I can't claim such bargains, but I did manage to get a roland sh-5 recently for $500... I almost choked when the guy said it. Wasn't in tip top condition, but it worked fine.

... and I did manage to get a Kawai K4r for $22 off the 'bay (snore)
Do you even post on vse bro?

Korg DW8000 $50.00 bought it about 9 years ago, only recently has it developed key issues and it also got nocked off it's stand and fell face down.

Roland JX8P $100.00 sold it.

Roland JX10 $270 shipped near mint condition.

The guy advertised the wasp as non working. Obviously he didn't know anything about synths...

I called and was at his door within half an hour.

It's in mint condition and works perfectly.

I was very lucky.. :D

I just got a Poly Evolver for 1200 bucks. It was a display model at Guitar Center but in really nice shape (I had sure played it enough to know). It was at $1999 for a while and I guess they discounted it to twelve literally about 10 minutes before I walked in.

Oh and not a synth obviously but in the early 90s my Dad bought me a 1969 Sunburst Fender Jazz bass in like 95% condition for 225 off a retired music professor- with a polytone solid state amp, which I sold for about that much a few years later.

So basically free. Best. Christmas. Present. Ever. Heh, I thought it looked pretty cool with those weird chrome pickup covers taken off... As much as I have issues with the old man, wow... thanks Dad.
