TB-303 Clone Audio Unit? / Audio Realism Drum Machine?
Which 303 clone audio units (I'm using Logic) are generally considered the truest to the original?
I was looking at Audio Realism's Bassline 2. Any others?

On top of that- don't forget many of the units are modded so the sound from unit to unit naturally varies.

He is after AudioUnits (au) not VST, VSTi or stand alones. Please read question before answering chaps...
JS: The Bassline 2 from Audio Realism is one of my favorites and it is a nice clone of the old silverbox. Not perfect, but nearly. The d16 is a tiny bit closer but still only vst sadly. So I'd put my money on the AR one if I were you.
Cheers!

Thanks...those were the two I found info on. I didn't realize that the D16 was VST only... so I'm really left with the ARB2 I guess.Mush wrote:He is after AudioUnits (au) not VST, VSTi or stand alones. Please read question before answering chaps...

soundwise, i find rebirth doesn't sound very good when it comes to 303 emulation
the best i've heard is VAZ+. not a dedicated 303 clone but it sound real good...

Re: TB-303 Clone Audio Unit? / Audio Realism Drum Machine?
I've been using D16's Nepheton, Drumazon, and Phoscyon all within Logic 8. Did this of course with FXpansion's VST-AU adapter. I've really taken a liking to Nepheton, moreso than ADM. Sounds a bit more authentic IMO

ABL2 is great -
i have Audiorealism Drum Machine - been using it on every single track now.. i also have Drumazon, but it is for harder 909 style kicks if i want those..
ADM has really good 808 sounds and 606 is nice as well...
