German Techno Guy Who Used Tape Recorder?

I was looking for the topic with the German Techo Musician who used analog tape.
The title was something like "Tape recorder used as effect"
There was a link to a subtitled video.
Is that topic still here? I searched and searched and couldn't find it.

I'd like to be able to track in analog. Mix in digital and mixdown to analog.

IMO, You want to mix in analog as well

The greatest mistake I ever made in my studio was selling my desk and mixing digitally in my DAW. I used to laugh at people who thought analog mixing sounded better - but the truth is that there is just something about a good desk with good EQ controls that really makes things sound warm. Maybe its just psychological, but I think digital mixing (at least the algorithms used in desktop DAW's) sounds pretty horrible.
