Synths on SNL!
This past weekend's Saturday Night Live had a sketch that featured a Nord Lead 3, an MPC2000XL and a Minimoog!

if i had not seen the jizz in my pants snl digital short then this would have easily been my fave. digital shorts is my fave part of snl "the new era". Andy Samberg and the rest of the lonely island crew are damn funny.

Hehe yeah. and why a Nord Lead 3 and not a DX7, I wonder...It doesn't even have enough keys to play that part.Computer Controlled wrote:Funny. I wonder what made them decide to use those machines...

Samberg's "Lazy Sunday" used some of the Dr. Rex loops from Reason. d**k in a Box is still my favorite but this is definitely top three material.

I meant to post this after I saw it... interesting having the NL3, mini and MPC up there. I imagine they are the bands instruments maybe? NBC must have a stockpile of synths back there somewhere.
Do you even post on vse bro?
Re: Synths on SNL!
Actually, the band has an actual DX7 and a Hammond B-3. NBC has a huge budget...they can go to SIR and rent anything they damn want to!Sir Ruff wrote:I meant to post this after I saw it... interesting having the NL3, mini and MPC up there. c**p I missed this weeks. Andy isn't utilized enough in sketches. The star is basically the lady, man she gets a lot of skits. Need to spread the wealth. This is actually my favorite cast since Mike Myers and Chris Farley.xibalba wrote:if i had not seen the jizz in my pants snl digital short then this would have easily been my fave. digital shorts is my fave part of snl "the new era".
