Name the synth quiz
Name the synth
People seem to love these kind of quizzes so I thought I'd throw one together. Only effect added was a tad of reverb.

Re: Name the synth quiz
i'm no pro and have only used an ion out of that lot so i don't think i'll be guessing, but i'd be shocked if that's what it is.
very pretty.

Re: Name the synth quiz
I'll go with the Ion. Sounds a little too perfect - but don't hang me if I'm wrong!

scratch that, since it's the sore thumb i won't be too surprised if that was the point.space6oy wrote:i'm no pro and have only used an ion out of that lot so i don't think i'll be guessing, but i'd be shocked if that's what it is.

Re: Name the synth quiz
I'm not going to call any kind of certainty here.
But I'd have to guess Ion or ObxA.
If forced to guess between those two, I suppose I'd lean towards the OBxA

Re: Name the synth quiz
I might be putting my foot in my mouth, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't an Ion. The sound seems to lack upper end dynamics. It also sounds kind of muffled and one dimensional. Might be the reverb though.

You mean OB-X? I don't own an Xa. All of the synths I've listed I own or have on loan for a day or two (ion).23 wrote:I'm not going to call any kind of certainty here.

I will spill one thing right now though, It's not an Ion. I sort of threw that in there to be funny and throw off the trail. So I removed Ion from the poll.

Re: Name the synth quiz
Bear in mind I'm only on crumby little laptop speakers, but regardless of what it is, it reminds me a lot of the sounds I get out of my CSs.

Re: Name the synth quiz
I voted OBX. Sounds woody and discrete so if its not the OB than my second guess would be the CS. Lovely sound.
