2 x jp8000 + 1 jp8080

nord lead 1 keyboard, nord lead 2 rack, nord lead 2x rack

2 x fr777

2 x tr909

2 x sh101 + mc202

3 x tb303

3 x tr606

2 x juno 106

Reasons vary. Finding good deals, plans to upgrade to rack versions (save space) but then not being able to give up the keyboard versions experience.

I've never had two of any synth - but I wouldn't mind having a second Clavia Nord Modular G1 w/DSP expansion.

I do have two Kurzweil KSP8 units.

cheers,
Ian

In the past, I have had multiple Monomachines and Microwaves XT/k, because one was a keyboard unit and the other a rackmount. I did briefly own two Sunsyns, but that's because one was overseas for repair. For a short while, I owned two Mutators and two KSP-8s, but I don't think I own multiples of anything, now - unless you count microphones.
Yours,
Niall.

Man that's amazing. Are you a Roland collectionist? I never thought people would like soo much to have 2 or 3 synths repeated....

Jesus, how do you use these gear?

I have two Nord Micro Modulars. I keep one in my live setup all packed with drone and processing patches, and I use the other one more like a regular synth. I might be able to get away with moving one back and forth and/or just printing to audio early/often, but they're not terribly expensive, and this just works for me.

That said, I'd ditch them both in a hearbeat if I could find a G2 engine for sale.

My friend swears by his two Tr-606's triggering two Pro-Ones setup. He likes to get polyphonic with the sequencers.

I'm onto my third Virus TI... but not at the same time. I had an MS2000 and MS2000R stacked for 8-voice polyphony briefly. Lovely synths, both.

Right now I'm looking for another JV1080 in the right condition to pair - and stack - with my fully xpanded JV so I can love me some 128-voice polyphony and even more expansion cards...

I have a Micron, and I wouldn't mind having an Ion. It's basically the same thing.

The Ion looks really quick to program, compared to menu diving on the Micron. Not to mention it's just a great-sounding synth that I'd love to jam with.

I have a Korg EA-1 and an EA-1 MkII. I use them for layering four simple melodies, sort of Mega Man-style. Plus, only one has the Ring Mod, and the other has Cross Mod, so they can sound pretty different when I want them to.
