Dallas Synth Meet
I'm hosting a synth meet at my furniture shop.
When: Sunday, October 24, 2010. 1pm-4pm
Where: Elegant Accents, 2003 108th Street, Suite 301, Grand Prairie, TX 75050
Be sure to bring headphones even if you're not bringing a synth. If you are bringing gear, be sure to bring stands, power strip and extention cord (my power outlets are spaced weird.

It's a long drive but I'll try to make it. I haven't had a vacation this year yet and this sounds like fun.

Are you making a Facebook event? I can help promote. Lots of synthetic pals in DFW area.

Re: Dallas Synth Meet
I'll be there! Thanks for hosting, Z! You're the man.
Re: Dallas Synth Meet
I'll be there for sure. Going to bring my modded SH-101 and TR606. Maybe the Polivoks if it's in the mood to work.
I am no longer in pursuit of vintage synths. The generally absurd inflation from demand versus practical use and maintenance costs is no longer viable. The internet has suffocated and vanquished yet another wonderful hobby. Too bad.

Please tell me you're bringing that new fizmo too, so us lesser beings can hear what a spaceship sounds like in person...

Re: Dallas Synth Meet
Cool! Yeah, I'll post a photo later. With Solderman's help, we brought my collection home a month ago, but there's still plenty of goodies there and I'll probably bring my Synthex and 1 or 2 others. Any requests? My friend Robbie (ILoveAnalog blog) is bringing his Arturia Origin. I haven't heard from Mark Glinsky yet, but if he comes, maybe I can talk him into bringing the custom EVS that was Pat Moraz's. Haven't heard from Paul Schrieber yet, either, but he usually brings some MOTM stuff to these meets.Zonkout wrote:Invited all my DFW/Denton synth nerd friends.
