Yamaha Tx-81z Vs DX-21
are they Sounding Similar? or its just the Same Synth as they have both 4 Osc´s and 8 Voices?

The DX21 is a 1st generation 4-operator FM synth (similar to the DX100 and DX27), while the TX81Z (and its keyboard brother the DX11) are 2nd generation.
The DX21 has sine-only waveforms and a grittier sound (due to a lower bit resolution, 12-bit in the 6-operator synths like the DX7, not sure what the bit depth of the 4-ops are). The TX81Z has 16-bit converters, thus a "cleaner" sound (some prefer the cleaner sound, others prefer the grittier sound from the 1st gen DXes). The TX81Z also has multiple waveforms available on the operators (besides sine).
The DX21 has a chorus effect and a split capability, but no velocity or aftertouch. The TX81Z has "pseudo effects" such as an echo (by using free voices) and reverb (through envelope trickery). The TX81Z is also 8-part multitimbral like the TX802.

Two VCO: thanks to the push rods, one can choose several forms of waves at the same time!

The TX81Z can load DX21 patch data and will sound similar, a bit cleaner because of the D/A converters. Because of the additional features Synthaholic mentioned, it can go far beyond the DX21 as well.
If you're thinking of buying, the TX is the one to get unless you really need the keys of the DX...the TX even sells for less.

I Dont Need Keys as I Have a Masterkeyboard..
I just Like the Lately Bass On the TX and One OrganSound on the Dx ,which the TX doesnt have and Vice Versa
