This could be filed under the "interesting" thread - I didn't know individual cased were made like this (looks like the SO4V) - but the price more than warrants being put in the ridiculous pile: for that much I would at least expect a couple SEMs in there!

Do you even post on vse bro?

"Cool old 70's Multivox MX-20 electronic combo piano in great condition. $265.
Great sound for trance ... techno ... minimal .. ambient tracks. Fanstasic 70's old style VCO sound.... CEM chips???
whatever they are ... probably cost you $75 per chip on eBay. might even be transistors.
this is not some junky dsp chip.
Pre dates midi by a while ... although I'm sure you could wire up a Kenton. Expect to record "Live" to start.

If it does not sell on Craigs ... I will mod as an " analog tb-303 type bass machine " and repost for $450.
(i.e. add attack/ (already has sustain & pitch & volume) / Korg MS-20 type filtering with rez and cut-off to circuit).
"

WTF? Someone know something about these pieces of s**t that I don't?

I lol'd at your comment there. Good times.

...unless he plans on gutting the electronics and stuffing some x0x stuff in there, or has alot of electronics kung-fu, I wouldn't expect it to turn into a 303 with a keyboard... but I guess anything's possible...

How did that happen!? Another one sold for $1400 on ebay recently just because it came with the original box. I think if I was going to pay 1200-1400 for another synth - I'd probably go with something that has a bit more power, perhaps a few more options on it. Am I crazy?
