"Unsolved Mysteries" TV show theme. Synths used?

Post by PPG_HOSHII! » Sun Dec 04, 2011 8:03 am

I really love the theme song to "Unsolved Mysteries" from 1987:

Does anybody happen to know what synths were used to make this theme? It sounds pretty expensive, Synclavier maybe? I always assumed it was the D-50, but maybe something else? Any guesses?

Drums sound like Fairlight to me, so I bet most of the other sounds are also Fairlight.

I remember a buddy of mine doing a quasi-cover of the theme with a preset on the D-50 back in the day.
