Re: New Moog apparently...
Damn, and I was so sure it was going to be a polyphonic synth based off the little phatty circuitry.

Re: New Moog apparently...
looks good,
it's VCO, had a filter and envelope and you can send it notes. What else do you need?
anyone moaning about this must have no talent to use it

Re: New Moog apparently...
would make a nice combo with the SEM methinks.
I guess for my needs I still need the Taurus for it's performance features...
Price is right though.

Re: New Moog apparently...
If the price is really $600 that is a steal if it really sounds like a cross between a Taurus 1 and 2.

Re: New Moog apparently...
600 seems like the right price... less features than the slim phatty... would be disappointed if it was anything more than 650...

Re: New Moog apparently...
I think this looks really cool, and I'd probably want one for my live rig if I hadn't already put together a TT Happy Ending kit that does pretty much the same thing in Eurorack but with additional spring reverb and analogue delay.
Funny that this is pretty much the same as the Vermona Mono Lancet (loses some waveforms and the modular expander, gains USB midi and an envelope) for almost the same price but people seem to be going more nuts over this. The I've played with the Vermona and it sounds very moogy and very good.

Re: New Moog apparently...
true.. but that extra envelope is so important to me.Stab Frenzy wrote:Funny that this is pretty much the same as the Vermona Mono Lancet (loses some waveforms and the modular expander, gains USB midi and an envelope) for almost the same price but people seem to be going more nuts over this. Finally I'll have a simple monosynth again and have a decent ext filter to run things thru. No more hoping and dreaming about the perfect Korg Monotron/tribe.

Don't people go nuts over anything that's moog?

Funny that.. in this polarized world. Judging from my past posts, I'd be a moog "hater".
yet I'm not.
Gotta admit tho, the lack of a noise generator gives the Vermona a little edge .. .it can make drums.
