Between Diva, ACE and OP-X II you're well covered in the "sounding sort of like a vintage synthesizer I guess" aspect.
P.S Whoever talked about it being a matter of preferring ITB too, I agree. I much prefer ITB synths workflow wise.

I'll stick my neck out here and say I've got some fantastic sounds out of Applied Acoustic Systems' Ultra Analog VA-1. Particularly buttery Oberheim-ish brass pads, and some very usable stringer patches. Viz:
Ultra Analog demo
Cheers

Not quite -
A dash of Clockwork Orange, mixed in with a smidgen of Blake's 7, and a brace of countless other Seventies' BBC space operas. And the smallest hint of Grieg.

Another vote for u-he. Don't have Diva, but have Ace, and it's the best-sounding softsynth I own, and a good price too. I've tried the demo of ImpOscar and it sounds great as well. IMHO most softsynths are brittle-sounding compared to analog hardware. These two have a little life of their own. I'm looking forward to u-he developing synths for Reason.

Poizone is pretty inexpensive, and is usually my "go to" softsynth for easy "analog" sounds.
