thanks

Good try, but that´s not possible....staticwarp wrote:I just need to be able to speed up or slow down the arpeggio, changing from 16th to 8th to quarter to half to whole notes as needed.
So, you need to switch between 16th to 8th notes during the course of one pattern?staticwarp wrote:Thanks, but that's not really what I'm talking about, and I keep the manual open when i'm using my esx. I don't need to simply reverse the functions of the slider and ribbon (i've tried, it wasn't all that different from the stock setting), but to change the rate of the arpeggio when it's triggered. it was probably a bit misleading for me to mention quantization in my first post, as quantization is fine with me. I just need to be able to speed up or slow down the arpeggio, changing from 16th to 8th to quarter to half to whole notes as needed. simply changing the gate time doesn't change the fact that the arpeggiator always triggers 16th notes - it just holds them for a longer/shorter period of time.
I'll reexamine the manual when I get home, and try switching the arp controls again - maybe i did something wrong last time I tried that. (like the time i thought timeslice was broken and it turned out i just wasnt saving the sample correctly)
