for my first synth i traded a fender jp-90 bass for an alesis micron. the jp-90 is obvi more revered now, but shortly after trade got taken to the music store for more or less for weed $ by its new owner

. looking back it was a bad trade inflation/value wise and i still cant write a patch on that f**k micron XD. but i cant imagine NOT having opened the door into the synth chasm at any other time for any other reason, it got me on to bigger and better things. and it wasnt a microkorg

and i still have it, i dont use it, was very tempted to sell it recently but it resides at my parents house where my dad uses it to test the midi output of a set of hammond pedals triggering a highly liquid cpu....
