Alesis Micron. Sold it after having it around 18 months or so. Thought many times about buying one back or maybe an ion.

Still have my ARP Odyssey MKII, bought in 1975 (I think I was about 15 at the time). Had it completely refurbished a couple of years ago by Kevin Lightner. Of course I'm still using it - found an ARP "Little Brother" on ebay in perfect condition to keep it company. The added osc. and LFO really adds a lot to the Ody.

for my first synth i traded a fender jp-90 bass for an alesis micron. the jp-90 is obvi more revered now, but shortly after trade got taken to the music store for more or less for weed $ by its new owner . looking back it was a bad trade inflation/value wise and i still cant write a patch on that f**k micron XD. but i cant imagine NOT having opened the door into the synth chasm at any other time for any other reason, it got me on to bigger and better things. and it wasnt a microkorg and i still have it, i dont use it, was very tempted to sell it recently but it resides at my parents house where my dad uses it to test the midi output of a set of hammond pedals triggering a highly liquid cpu....

Sold my first (Juno-106 bought brand-new in the summer of 1984). Do I miss it? Nah.

OTOH, I sold my second synth (one of the first ESQ-1s to hit the market in 86) in 1993 and kicked myself for doing so for years.

Finally bought a beat-up one a couple of years ago, and restored it with the help of some forum members.

I am still discovering new things about this amazing machine.

My first "real" synth was a Microkorg, which I got in 2007 (and still use all the time.) My first "keyboard" was a Casio CT-656 which was a pretty awesome 11th birthday present if I do say so myself. My sister has it right now, under a strict promise to ask me first if she ever decides she needs to get rid of it.

I still have my first "DAW" too - a Commodore 64 that the family got new in 1983.

Still have mine, a Moog Prodigy I bought back in 1988. Money well spent (it had been my birthday three days prior to buying it).

DX-100, stole it from school. I knew it must of been good as I've seen 100's of DX-7's on TV and Top Of the Pops 2 so thought ahh it's one of these synthesizer majigies I can make my own sounds on finally lol

Think I've had about 4 now... This one I have now I'm keeping

First synth I actually brought and paid for with my own money though was a Bass Station keyboard I brought from a local music shop, I sold that one too. I have one again though, not selling it either

I still have my Yamaha V50 "workstation" 4-op FM synth with sequencer/drum machine. Right now the internal RAM battery is dead, so all my interesting sounds are gone... Oh well, the thing really taught me how FM synthesis works and I actually got rather good at making the thing sound like all the 80's synth bands I idolized. I'm keeping it for definite nostalgia reasons, but I will replace the battery so I can actually use it. In the meantime, my Juno106 and Matrix6 are getting the job done well...

Still gigging weekly with an Ensoniq SD1, the first synth I acquired, as the 3rd owner, in 1995.

My first was a roland sh1000. I sold it or probably traded it in for something. I got it around 1975 or so, and as a result I no longer remember what exactly happend to it. It was nearly 40 years ago, and ......it was the 70's. I don't remember many things from the 70's
I would definitely love to have another one, but honestly more for sentimental reasons than anything else. (though it was a cool little synth)

MY first one was a Juno 106.

Sold it--and my beloved Rhodes mk1--to fund an ill-advised move to Chicago.

A month later I was back living with my Dad minus 2 of my 3 only keyboards/synths.

I too had a Juno-1 as my first programmable, which I sold. My first keyboard being a Casio MT-46 which I still have, and circuit bent in 2008.
