Request an analog on Roland's Facebook page!
Maybe they will listen to us like Korg did and make something interesting...

Ok so lets say they do make something analog again, who's to say it's going to be any good anyway?
Let's face it, analog or not, it's been a while since *anything* interesting has come from this company.
I'd just be happy if they made a decent new synth of serious musical value.

Wasn't you who wanted Roland to at least have a go at making one even if it sucked?

This is as useless as making facebook groups. Signing a petition doesn't mean s**t.

Roland must be having a hearty chuckle as their engineers work on their General Midi tuba with MP3 player and USB.

Why do you, or anyone, still feel that we require the presence of Roland in the analog synth market? Have you, by chance, noticed any of the zillions of other companies out there happily making new products?
Do you even post on vse bro?

I don´t care if they release an analog or not. And if they do it, I won´t be able to afford it.
A new poly analog from Roland, could go up to $2500-3000.
But also, isn´t nice to just come and post: this is stupid, this is nonsense...useless, etc.

Well the same thing was being said about analog before MiniBrute arrived, did you end up not getting a MiniBrute?Sir Ruff wrote:Why do you, or anyone, still feel that we require the presence of Roland in the analog synth market? And then the MS-20 mini..
I guess it's not really a big deal, I just think its interesting what they would do, their past analog gear is amazing, they could ressuserect old circuits and make like a digital hybrid etc.
Also the reason we wanted to suggest to them about such a product now is because they're apparently rebuilding the company, and going to anticipate customer demands along with that they recently were doing surveys and have a new president.
As they haven't done well financially and made a loss 4 years in a row.

This would only work if it was coming from Roland themselves (like Korg did).

Maybe they'll release a small 1-2 oscillator analogue synth with 25 keys
