All from the same seller, who normally sells sealed lead acid batteries.... Screams of a hacked account.

What makes me laugh about this is the seller's ebay ID

I wonder if that price is adjusted for suburban trustfund kids living in Brooklyn?

Re: Ridiculous eBay 'Buy-it-now' and starting bids.
A ridiculous listing in our local kijijii listed a korg Kronos 73 for $1200! Really.
I wasn't going to follow this up, but a friend of mine encouraged me. I was in contact with the seller and he was a film soundtrack guy from the US who was moving back and needed to shed some weight for travel. I was drafting a letter to say I wasn't coming, I already have a M3 with a Radias expansion board, when he emailed me that some guy from Montreal had offered him $1000 but he didn't want to ship. He had a mini studio with a couple of Nords and a V-synth. He couldn't find all the manuals, but he had the quick start. I asked him if he's happy with an offer of $1000, which he accepted. I gave him $100 in cash and a cheque for $900.
Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and a Korg Kronos 73 was bought for $1000!

These cost $50 when new. Similar functionality to a Monotron. Sheesh!
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Re: Ridiculous eBay 'Buy-it-now' and starting bids.
First the seller tried to off load a Juno 106 with a defective VCF on one voice at $750 (yesterday's ad), now it has morphed into a fully non-working synth for $400 firm!

EDIT: Even more pathetic now, it's missing its 2 prongs power cord and shows a $50 drop...
