Think the last one of these to come up went for under half of this?

Last LM-1 i've seen was on evilbay UK about 4 months ago and went for 4400GBP wich is +-7500USD.
That's just stupid. I almost bought one that needed fixing once, offered the seller what I thought was a fair price but I couldn't be bothered with it so didn't pursue it.

Then I got some guy on a forum ask me for the lead to the sale (and he didn't even say thanks when I gave it to him, don't you love people like that  ).

Can't say they do much for me, but seriously for that kind of money you'd be nuts.

If it weren't for Sonic Projects' OP-X Pro II, I would be seriously looking toward getting an Oberheim. But not this one.

Redonc, especially considering all the issues it still has... There's one without all the issues for half that much on ebay now (seller is Urgetoplay, a longtime member on this board).
Do you even post on vse bro?

The floppies don't work, the kaypro looks like it was dipped in the loo, that's not cricket. How can you say the gear is 100%, but state seconds later that one integral part of that hardware has an issue that makes you unable to communicate with it?

This one was spotted by a Sound On Sound Magazine reader and posted in their forum. I suppose these cables must be assembled by virgin nymphomaniac mermaids who work by the light of glowing unicorn horns only on the fifth day of Wenceslas of every opposing year when no conservatives are sitting in order and a new Lord High Mayor has just revealed the Lottery winners. The auction/sale actually says 10 or more available/3 sold. Three sold. Must be to glam rock bands.

I debated posting this for a second because it is not on eBay nor is it strictly a "synth" but since half the articles in Synthtopia these days are about some iPad app (it feels that way, at least) I think the iPad can fall loosely under the category of synthesizer. Anyway, this is just too ridiculous not to post.
iPad Ratina display 16GB white Wi-Fi with 4G LTE (Flappy Bird) and Jailbroken on iOS 7.0.4 [sic]
The ridiculous thing is the asking price. You ready? $75,000.00
But, you can buy a used one for $549.99. I wonder if this one actually includes the copyright to Flappy Bird?

So lets just pretend it is the best cable known to man, I still don't get the point of it?!? :?

It's still going to be limited by whatever bog standard wiring is in your rack gear/amp, plus there's every chance if you're anything like every guitarist that's ever existed then the thing will just get stomped on and tripped over anyway.

If you really wanted to reduce hum in your setup there is a million more useful things you can do (that cost a whole lot less) that will make far greater difference than this.

Really this whole Monster/Beats/Premium Cable thing is just aimed at selling s**t to people who don't know any better, and that kinda pisses me off.

I'm suspecting that if it isn't a TOTAL IMBECILE RIP-OFF, then these must be secret government carbon nano-tubule cables with zero impedence that actually gets your signal to the amp before you even play thereby channeling your creativity from the future to improve your life today. Yeah, that's the ticket.

In other news,

I guess the seller was waiting for those $3500 units from Japan to clear out so he could post his own without embarrassment.

Seems to me this is a bit much for a 3rd tier string machine with problems.
