Polyphony.
One of my desires is to have a 5-6 voice Voyager rig. Even if it weren't an option, I'd still have and want more than one for gigging purposes as well as being able to track more than one at a time.
Speaking of which, another one of my desires was to have an 8 voice DSI PEK, but in all honesty I think that was me being greedy as four voices was always enough, all of the time... but why not experiment? I digress.
why would anyone own 3 moog voyagers?

I see a lot of good points. and btw I was not trying to diss anyone for having multiple synths. I just didn't understand why. and it would be nice to have one on the toilet to make the brown noise.

If you're regularly making brown noise when you're on the toilet, you should take a look at your diet

Its all good. I wasnt offended(i assume you were referencing me). The main point to think about is its monophonic and by extension not multitimbral. Im also one of those ignorant types who doesnt like software(which is a fault, but eh whatever). So no multi tracking. f**k that. If i cant do it im some twisted version of real time i dont bother. Granted ive mixed post record here and there, but not much else happens in the box(aside from sifting through old sessions for sweet sample loops).

I agree that hardware rules over software pretty much 99 percent of the time.don't get me wrong I know a lot of people love software but for me I have to have my hands on the synthesizer I am playing at the moment. And I'm glad you weren't offended I definitely wasn't trying to offend anyone

before getting my modular I considered getting a couple rme togo along with my Voyager. it's still something I'm thinking about.
My modular so far: Q104, Q106, Q107, Q108, Q109 x2 , Q116, Q118, Q127 w/Q140, Q130, STG Wave Folder, playing with Moog Voyager, VX-351, CP-251, MF-104M (x2 STEREO!)
