Hi guys,
Last time you helped me a lot to make a decision in buying the prophet 08, then, I'm asking again for your advices.
Just to recap, I have a Nord Stage 2, Nord lead 2X, D50 roland, Yamaha TX802, Roland XV5080, Oberheim matrix 1000, Emu Proteus 2000 AND a prophet 08 (Bought in March...as I didn't want to wait for the Prophet 6 release...)
So, if you were me, which last synth you will be adding to my rig? See the subjedt, P6, NL3 or wave....Even a Moog Sub phatty 37? The goal is to find a sound that will complement the synths that I have AND also a kind of finishing my collection of best synth/sounds of the electronic music history (kind of best sound for each brand...)
Help please
Sincerely
PROPHET 6 VERSUS NORD WAVE VERSUS NORD LEAD 3

Thing is, NL3 doesn't sound like the other nords at all. It's more of a "generic" virtual analog sounding synth. Doesn't have "that" special nord sound at all.

Ok but I already have a Prophet 08, so, what a Prophet 6 will bring to me?

Sell the P08 and the NL 2X and buy the Wave and the P6. Should fit in your budget and you'll have much better sounds. The Matrix 1000 and the P08 cover a lot of the same ground anyway so you won't miss much by losing the P08.

A sub37 and prophet 6 would compliment your other gear nicely, especially if you're going for famous analog synth sounds to round out your collection. Do you play live? What kind of music are you making?
