Synthpop Is Not Dead

Have you guys heard "Aeon Rings" yet? Pretty good duo. They're sort of Retro '80's but with a modern edge.
You can check them out here: https://synthrecords.bandcamp.com/album/floods

Synth pop has been in resurgence for years now. h**l even post punk which was coming back into vogue when I was in my late teens is still going strong. What exactly is the point of this thread?

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Doing that, you'll be the one and only. And they can't take that away from you.

PS. Fischerspooner were doing this ages ago. It's called electro. I think these guys are bots. I'm going to listen to Mssrs Fischer and Spooner instead.

Well, I know that synthwave should be dead, but it's mutilated corpse continues to wriggle around on a flickering neon grid floor panel in some depressing nearly abandoned shopping center.
