Re: Photos of your set-up / studio
So far I don't really have a studio because I live in a relatively small flat (gotta love big cities, right?) but it might well change soon! I got a job that I can do from afar, so I might well be moving to Greece, and the house I'm looking to buy has both a big basement and respectable distances between it and the neighbors, so I'll be able to have both a large room to tinker with synths, guitars and RC cars, and the ability to play as much as I want without it starting a war with the people next door

My modest setup. Couple German synths, mixer/audio interface (Firewire!), old MacBook running Logic. There's a Kurzweil PC88 piano/controller off frame.

In electronic music, sequencers are as important as synths, they all modify your composition and playing

Here is my Tower of Power. Actually, I like the blinking lights on my Virus TI.

PS For some reason, the picture itself does not show up in this post. When I tried using the image insert function of this forum, nothing happens except one word by itself, “Image”.
Current Gear: Kurzweil PC3, Access Virus TI, Kurzweil MIDIBoard, Yamaha TG77, and various good quality soft synths on my iPad. This includes excellent emulations of some classic synths, like the Moog Model D. My setup also includes a Tascam Audio/MIDI interface, a Auria Pro iPad sequencer, a Mac Cubase Elements sequencer, a Makie mixer, a MOTU MIDI Timepiece AV, and a QuickLok stand. Oh yes, a hand held Denon DAT tape machine for sampling and archival purposes.

Re: Photos of your set-up / studio
Room 2 looks like a lot of fun. I love how the Cirklon is the main brain. I'd probably never leave that room. My setup is similar (and not as tidy) as your first room, which maybe isn't as inspiring to me anymore, but functionally necessary I guess.

You guys are way too neat...my music room is a total mess. Good thing I can't post any pics, I wouldn't want to traumatize anyone

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Re: Photos of your set-up / studio
Nice studio pics.
My studio, not so modern. Most of my instruments are from the pre-MIDI era. My computer, still runs WIN95. Using a few MIDI to CV converters to trigger via a Roland MKB-1000.

The far left is a Korg PS-3100 with a modularized 74 Minimoog on top. In the middle a 1969 Moog modular and a late 70's Aries modular on the far right, CZ-101 sitting on top.

Sitting across is the WIN95 recording computer and an 8 module Roland 100M modular system. Everything I need to crank out some tunes.

Here's mine after resurrection. Not pictured: Deepmind 12 and slightly abused (by previous owner) KX88, currently looking for permanent location.
