Arturia PolyBrute

Post by Weirdofromouterspace » Tue Sep 15, 2020 3:02 pm

It finally appears official - Sweetwater has listed it for ~$ 2.5k.

Six voices, 5 octave keybed a.k.a. 61 keys, Steiner-Parker and ladder filters, modulation matrix appearing similar to that of the MatrixBrute, 64 step polyphonic sequencer, ribbon controller, a "Morphée" pad (likely the wooden thing underneath the mod wheels)...

Don't forget to TURN ON THE SYNTHESIZER. Often this is the reason why you get no sound out of it. - ARP 2600 manual, 1971

Nope, it is still online (8 pm CEST) ;).

Edit: And it's in the Arturia site as well:

It's up *now*, because the Polybrute is launched and embargoes are lifted. But it was obviously published early, and then they caught it and removed the page until the official embargo time.

Wow cool, how did you find that? It's not even published in any issue of SOS.

It's from the next issue out soon - sometimes they put out a review of something early if the timing works out for usually social interest reasons. They usually announce it on the forum and put up a news piece on their site with the link to the review eg:
