Roland jv-1080 not playing in patch mode

Hi,
I have a problem, my jv doesnt want to play any of the patches i patch mode. in perform mode i can only play a vew sad patches. Can anyone please help me figure out how to select and play in patch mode.

no, those are ok i think, i can play some patches in perform mode

Yes, but in performance mode, you have many performances that respond (multitimbrally) to different MIDI channels.

Check your overall MIDI channel, and set it to 1. Also make sure your keyboard is transmitting on channel 1. Then patches in patch mode should play as intended.

If that still doesn't work, I suggest trying to reset the module back to factory state, and trying from there.

i set receive channel to 3, now everythig works, thanx for your time!!!
