cool interview! it would be AWESOME to see new moog modules, and based on him mentioning people asking about the taurus before it was announced, it gives more weight to that poly rumor too :O

new moog modulars would be awesome, as long as they can be more innovative then what synthesizers.com is doing.

Cheers for that - an interesting read. However is that recent interview? Because if it is then the Little Phatty Stage II is hardly what I'd call a "future release".

Re: Moog Music interview with Amos Gaynes Applications Engineer
Yes. not that old, but ...I did three different interviews. One that was supposed to be in last issue- following the last NAMM and the second part was split among issues so technically this is part 1 and 2. Part 3 is very cool and it's timeless so Idecided I had enough synth meat for this issue. There's also a lot more audio examples but they fit more with the direction of next issue.
Someone should have caught that though and edited it out....

Don't worry about it - I was only curious. It's still a great article - especially when it's free and presented in a fancy Flash viewer like that.griffin avid wrote:Someone should have caught that though and edited it out....

I had the good fortune to have a short Gmail chat with Amos last year. He struck me as a really bright, level-headed sort of chap with a genuine enthusiasm for synthesizers. Definitely one of us.

You can chat with him here aswell, he's been a regular poster whenever Moog has had something new up their sleeve.

Yes, and Moog's alpha/beta tester, head of tech support, Guru of of the Piano Bar, Guru of the Etherwave line, feature inspiration behind LP arp and other cool stuff in Moog gear, Husband, musician/composer, Viral video star, Still trying to figure out where Goa turned into Psy trance, Jet lagged from LA, Perhaps eating taco bell and wondering how he will answer the 4000 emails he has received while away at NAMM from people wondering how the h**l to use the Etherwave Plus to control both global warming and the economic breakdown.griffin avid wrote:Amos Gaynes Applications Engineer
