Re: Beats by DRE Headphones - I'm looking for a review
Well you gotta understand dr. dre is a business man and monster is a company that sells over priced s**t that you don't really need. The end result is going to be compact visually aesthetic toy with a lot of hype behind it.
I've never tried these headphones and I never will and I'll tell you why:
1. I'm sure these headphones work just as well as headphones in the $100-150 price range, but somehow because they come in a huge a*s box, look fashionable, and are endorsed by dr. dre it somehow justifies the doubling the price.
2. Shameless self promotion. I'm tired of seen "beats by dr. dre" snuck into everything. I'm sick of hearing about these things.
LOL check this out. this has some good examples of how beats by dre whores itself. >> http://www.thorspace.com/music/dr-dre-i ... -industry/
3. These headphones are made for assholes. jersey shore guidos, art fags, and metrosexuals in particular.

That's gold, you're spot on. The rest of your post we can do with out...wrekkstylz wrote:Well you gotta understand dr. dre is a business man and monster is a company that sells over priced s**t that you don't really need. Not to play into the other posts as to state that these headphones suck, may I ask what it is you would be doing with said headphones? Is it to mix at night while your family/girlfriend/roomy/neighbour is sleeping?

I love my AKGs. Fasntastic headphones. Of course, like speakers (and synths, fudge, wine, and women) they're a matter of personal taste.

To be honest, I have tried these out in a store and they sounded pretty good for listening to hip-hop. I'm not saying that there aren't better deals...because there are. However, they aren't just complete garbage.

Wow... Someone actually thinks these look good? These might be cool if your like 15 doing the whole urban look thing (which looks pretty stupid to me anyway but I'm fairly positive I looked stupid at 15 so it just goes with the territory) but come on...
If I were to buy headphones for style and nothing more I think I'd go with something like this:

Re: Beats by DRE Headphones - I'm looking for a review

I was looking for a SOUND review but only JSRockit gave one....
I think that If there isn't nothing to say, say nothing ! It seems that no one here thinks as me
