And how ofter do you come across a "blue" arm ?

The JP4 is an arpeggio king, really. Mine is pure Duran Duran and Human League. They both used them mainly as arpeggio machines ! So much FAT.

The JX are sound truly awesome. Real classics. I had a few and still think the MKS70 sounds amazing for strings and pads, very warm and clean, yet very powerful.

Got one sitting here waiting for refurbishment. It currently doesn't initialize correctly and will need some work to get working.

Do you think it worths the effort ? Or will it act like just about any ancient sampler out there, with only 512mb of ram etc. ?

The gray looks nice with the arm, but somehow I have the feeling that both the red and blue 101's will become sought-after collectible analogs in a few years (any idea how many were made of each ?)

How many red and blue SH101 were made, as opposed to the "standard" gray ones ? I got a blue and a gray SH101 and will sell one. They used the JP4 on just about every song on "Rio",
including "save a prayer". You just hear that immediately when tweaking the JP4 with the arpeggio going. The lead must be JP8.
