I never got one. I think I bought a Yamaha RY8 instead which had a similar pitch to midi feature. It worked ok to use with a theremin to trigger a sound module and play air sitar

It took 13 years but I finally got my answer

virtually identical to a Mini Moog in a blind test. There are comparison videos all over youtube.

Despite the hatred. Nothing's sacred. The MS-20 mini, the TR-08 and now the Behringer Model D.

I have the Boss RC-202 and I've synced it up with other groovebox/drum machines via midi with no issues. It's been months since I've used it though.

Will definitely be picking up the TR-08. I get a kick out of the clowns on youtube saying it sounds like garbage and nothing like a real 808. Most of them would fail to distinguish between the 2 in a blind test.

I hope Behringer puts Moog out of business and the Moog factory in Asheville, North Carolina is replaced with a Walmart Supercenter that sells Behringer Model D knockoffs.

Would like to see Moog's real cost of reproducing the Minimoog and how it compares to the selling price.
