Native Instruments has an excellent demo (One for Massive too) so you can download it and try it out for yourself.

Also you will probably need a soundcard of which many of them come with a light version of a particular software.
Although many still arn't Universal Binary, or whatever thats called, yet.

The new velvet from Digi looks nice. Of course, you have to running pro tools to use it but it might be a vsti someday. The video introductions on the Digi site look really nice.

i know this is gonna sound crazy but I've played alot with the minimax ASB and NOAH in the store and liked them more than the voyager. To me they sounded great. The best VAs that I've ever played. Better, to me, than the Nord stuff.

I'm looking for everyones opinion on what sample or software program comes closest to the real thing. I hope this thread hasn't been done to death.

S1000. My one year old daughter keeps turning the knobs and pressing the buttons. It keeps her occupied fo r about 5 minutes. Its built like a tank.
