I always find myself wishing someone would make a virtual SP1200, MPC60, SCI Studio 440 or EMAX, Emulator, s950 Emulator etc, not really for the sequencers but for the sound. Since most of these units use analog filters and the 12 bit sound cant be done really well with a plain bitcrusher plug IMO. ...

thought about the asrX ??? although personally i think the Ensoniq menus are more finicky than the Akai's (even the MPC2000)
but you can do more cool stuff with ensoniqs FO SHO
they sound different too, i think the ensoniq stuff sounds nicer and 'bigger'.
