thanks for the input people... i do have an EMAX I which sounds great - but i am at a stage where the interface and instant editability of all drum sounds seems really important.(its called the lazy stage) i suppose i was thinking along the lines of sampling the EMAX, analog drums and resampling MD ...

maybe under preferences, midi, you need to turn some midi filtering off or more likely you might have to enable sysex on your MKS. just ideas, but i dont have an MKS so i wouldnt really know. have you set the midi device to an output of a midi track on Cubase ?? once you do that, there is an icon in...

I always find myself wishing someone would make a virtual SP1200, MPC60, SCI Studio 440 or EMAX, Emulator, s950 Emulator etc, not really for the sequencers but for the sound. Since most of these units use analog filters and the 12 bit sound cant be done really well with a plain bitcrusher plug IMO. ...
