Re: VSE - Good trader/seller thread

Bought parma 's TE OP-1. It was packed so well I thought it would be trapped forever and he shipped it out pretty fast. Works and looks great just like he described. Great communication and a cool dude. +++ points to him. :thumbleft: Likewise, RobotHeroes was a pleasure to deal with. Fast transacti...

Re: os update killed my AN200! (HELP!!!)

Have you tried a midi cable your 100% sure works? Also maybe give http://www.bome.com/midi/sendsx/ a try if you've not yet. Good luck, and there is always the possibility a part got fried or something, but hope for you that isn't the case, OS updates always freak me out. Yamaha's support for their ...

Re: os update killed my AN200! (HELP!!!)

If you don't hear from me, it's because I 've simply forgotten. Not snobing you but I help a lot of people and got a repairshop. So I"ve got a lot on my mind. I'm sorry but I forget. You could have recontacted me instead of throwing it in the attic & waiting for 2 years! I should have the service m...

Re: os update killed my AN200! (HELP!!!)

I know it's been nearly 2 years but.... I've still got this thing sitting in my attic not doing anything. Does anybody have any experience working with the AN200 that could help me out? I just can't believe that a possible botched OS update would kill the unit. I never heard back from Maschinengeist...

anybody know anything about Yamaha CP11 electric piano

there's one up on craigslist near me and I'm considering getting it, but I've never heard one before. Of course, I'll be checking it out before I would buy it but, in the meantime, if anybody can tell me anything about it or point me to some audio samples I'd greatly appreciate it. I've been able to...

Update: I cancelled the MD purchase from Big City Music and instead bought my like-new MD-UW from fellow VSE'er bgrish (saving me over $200 even with next day shipping - thanks bgrish!) . One day later - I now have the MD in my hands. holy s**t. fun fun fun. I've barely even checked out the manual a...

well guys - I just placed an order for the MD-UW from Big City Music (I emailed around and they are seemingly the only place in the US that has them in stock). I should have it by the end of the week. I'll give you some first impressions after I play with it for a while. The good thing about Elektro...

As stated before you'll want both after you get one. The MDUW can be capable enough with melodic content that it will keep you busy for the year that you save up for the Mono... it's not the funds that are the issue, it's the justification  honestly though, I'm glad my wife is here to keep me...

any more opinions? for some reason I find myself leaning towards the MD-UW. Most of the demos I've heard from the MnM just don't appeal to me. Maybe my subconscious is wanting to do some more beat-oriented things. And with the UW, I figure I can always load my own "melodic" samples if need be. I rea...

Do any of you guys have MD-only or MM-only tracks that I can hear. I'd love to hear a more melodic song done on the MD and a more percussive song done on the MM. Not a track really, just jamming around, but this is using only the BBOX drum machine from the MM: http://senduit.com/c40d0e hmmm....some...

What you need to understand is that, no matter what one you buy, if you enjoy it...you will want the other machine right away. I'm afraid of that. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending how you look at it) I have a wife that will smack me silly if I drop several grand on 2 new "toys". I'll ...
