Re: Microkorg XL
The thing that impressed me about the original microkorg was the modulation capabilities. i would spend hours patching things together. now it looks like that has been done away with completely. :( unless it is accessible through sub menus which would make it even more tedious than it already was. i...

how about Joey Karam of The Locust. i know they are probably not everyone's cup of tea here but he has some of the quickest fingers i have seen. he really is an inspiration for me and he has a nice set up, really interesting to see live. his soundscapes are great. Re: Well, after all that trouble, I got my first synth!!
Good luck i hope it works. my first moog was a prodigy (from ebay). the guy said it worked fine but when i got it it had to get repaired. rest assured that he got a negative feedback. The guy said he tested it, and it seems to work, but he doesn't know how to use it. sounds like he is saying that so...

he was twisting those knobs like they were the first pair nipples he ever had. he looked like he had a lot of pent up aggression.

Re: Prodigy tuning problems
well, i'll put the oscs in unison but they will only be unison for one note, if i play another they will be dramatically out of tune with each other. also the scaling of the notes is wrong. i'll use the tune knob to tune a note, lets say c, but when i play an otave up from that it won't be c, it wil...

Prodigy tuning problems
I thought my moog prodigy was gone forever. i took it in to get fixed because it crapped out on me and when i called in to tell him to tune it he said that it couldn't be repaired. when i brought it home i plugged it in using a different power cord and it works but i still need to have it tuned. doe...
