I like mine because I got it for $250. The guy was a motivated seller, and It had stickers all over it that his 9 year old cousin had put on (unicorns, etc).
It sounds like an expensive unicorn. Love it.

Re: My Polysix effects crackle noise
Hey everybody– thanks for the replies. I lifted the hood up and the problem persists. Also turned the attenuator down and that had no effect... As far as bad capacitators and things like that go– I've replaced pickups and pots on guitars but that's it. So it's time to take it to a pro, I guess! ther...

My Polysix effects crackle noise
Hey I have a Polysix question if anybody can tell me... My P6 sounds great except when I turn on the effects section, or use a patch that already has the effects section engaged... then it's kind of crackly and noisy. It doesn't overpower the sound, but it's definitely very audible and not a good cr...

Re: Midi knob box for Six Trak?
I can't find an Encore Knobby or Slidemate for sale anywhere on the web... Encore Electronics won't answer my emails and their website seems way out of date. Too bad.
I guess the BCR2000 is the best option...
thanks for the replies everybody!

Matrix6 and M1000X question
Hey guys (and ladies?) I'm trying to get my Matrix to work with M1000X and I found this helpful entry by Asbak on Gearslutz: "Step 1 - Go to your Mac's Audio Midi setup in Utilities. Step 2 - Take a look at what Midi Interfaces are listed in there, make sure your interface is listed. Step 3 - Connec...

you're right though– it's not super cheap. I wouldn't even call it normal cheap.

Midi knob box for Six Trak?
Hi– I wanna control my Six Trak better. I know I can make it sound incredible if I could just get under the hood... after extensive searching, it seems like the Behringer BCR2000 is the way to go... or not? is there anything else out there that's good easy to use, and kind of on the el cheapo side? ...

Matrix 6 voice issue
Hey forum– :help: I have a Oberheim Matrix 6 that I was playing yesterday– and noticed that one of the voices is louder and more trebly than the others. In the patch name display, little moving dots under the patchname indicate which voice is being used, so I can see that whenever I hit that certain...

Re: Juno 60 mysteriously going into edit mode
Well– this morning I opened the Juno up and sprayed with compressed air and contact cleaner. Especially over and under the recently installed battery. The Juno has been on for a couple hours now, and all seems well. I guess there was some dirt in there... So– problem solved. Now I can enj...

Re: Juno 60 mysteriously going into edit mode
A dirty or bad pot will put the unit in edit mode. As I stated in the other topic the resetting to manual mode is a power supply wiring issue. thanks for replying, synthparts– so any idea which pot it is? Or should I just spray the whole board with contact cleaner... could it also possibly be a slo...

Re: Juno 60 mysteriously going into edit mode
Also: now that the Juno has been on for awhile, now when I'm just choosing patches, all the patches are in edit mode–
without me doing anything else.

Re: Juno 60 mysteriously going into edit mode
Hmmm. Thank you for the reply, cornutt! From the post you referenced: "Occasionally, I will be playing on a saved patch and my J-60 will automatically reset itself to the on-board keyboard settings (everything from the envelope, LFO, VCF, chorus, etc.)." my problem is a little different: my patch re...

Juno 60 mysteriously going into edit mode
Hello forum– I recently took my Juno 60 to have the battery replaced. (I know many people who own these replace the battery themselves, and I tried– but the battery was just in a weird awkward place, and I'm not the best at soldering) ANYWAY I got it back today, and loaded in the Factory patches and...
