I love it. I had FM7, which I thought was okay, but FM8 is just so much better. Thanks to FM8, I have no desire to use any DX-series synth. I can't imagine trying to program one after this. did FM8 retain some or all of the original presets from the FM7? I want to uprgrade my Komplete 3 to 4 but i'...

I've never had the chance to use Studio Vision - what makes it so special? Have you tried all the other (modern) alternatives? It's a pretty common opinion that PT's MIDI side is not so hot. Yes I have tried everything thats modern for the Mac OSX, I own Cubase SX2, DP4, & I demoed Logic what makes...

6-ALL KITS there's were they have them organized by single instruments (kicks, snares, ect) Battery's power is its ability to manipulate each individual cell when I load a simple MIDI track to my sequencer and then send the midi drum track to Battery of course the notes don't play what they intended t...

On it's own nothing sounds like a real analog, but in a mix you can't tell there is only so much dynamic range in a modern mix so, unless you are just recording an entire album from one analog synth and no multi-tracking you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a mix Live is a whole different ...

I don't miss it, although it LOOKED good in the studio (eye candy for new clients) I have been using Opcode's Studio Vision on an old Mac G3(beige) for sequencing and I still love it for my drums sounds I use Battery 2 (the best drum/sample module in software) for synths I use a combo of hardware an...

looks to me that these WILL become CLASSICS because of this feature, IF putting better tubes makes them sound better that will definitely add value when they get discontinue. it's not like a another piece of mass produce synth that could use an expensive (Tech only)mod mods can be done on most gear,...
