The other day my friend told me there is a way to get sounds for your ensoniq mirage from the web and transfer them by MIDI instead of messing with disks. Does anyone have any more info on this and where to go?

Has anyone played both vocoders and been able to compare sound? Obviously the VP330 seems like a better buy because you get the awesome string and choir vocal sounds but based on the vocoder functions alone, which do you think sounds better and gives you more range of sound?

I've owned both the Emulator II and Mirage and I actually prefer the Mirage. It's a whole lot easier to find disks for, way cheaper, and way more portable. I also don't think the Mirage is that difficult to edit...you can find the parameter card sheet online and yer good to go
