It's weird because I thought the same thing, and I recorded the kick to just the metronome and it was slightly off, which I like by the way, and when it played back it sounded quantized to a grid. That's when I noticed that the quantize mode was on and there was no way for me to turn it off ?? There...

Hey. I was wondering if it is possible to turn off the quantize function when recording drums in real time. I can't find the answer in the manual, someone please help! I tried going to quantize and moving the knob but it only changes the resolution, it doesn't have an 'off' option.
