Re: Syncing Mopho x4 sequencer to MIDI clk
For those interested, I’ve heard back from DSI, and they’ve reproduced the issue on their own Mopho x4. They have “added this issue to our list of items to be considered for changing in an upcoming OS”, but they “have no information as to when/whether a "fix" would be possible”. I’m pretty surprised...

Re: Syncing Mopho x4 sequencer to MIDI clk
Yes, I'm already aware of that. In the video the MPC is sending midi clock and a note. I probably should have been more explicit about that.

Re: Syncing Mopho x4 sequencer to MIDI clk
I'm talking cr*p. The Mopho would start/stop with the MPC as its triggered by notes. But yes, I have the Mopho set to external clock.

Re: Syncing Mopho x4 sequencer to MIDI clk
Yes, the Mopho is set to sync to external clock in the global menu. If it wasn't, its sequencer wouldn't start and stop with the MPC. You look like you have a few DSI boxes, Rick. Take it you're not having this problem? What sequencer are you using? Hardware/software? My DSI Evolver desktop doesn't ...

Syncing Mopho x4 sequencer to MIDI clk
Hey - I'm having problems accurately syncing the Mopho x4's sequencer to MIDI clock generated by my MPC1000. I made a video here;

Poly Evolver Seq Sync
The PEK sequencer when run in [Keygates Seq Rst] is 20ms late when clocked from either my MPC1000 or Machine Drum. My OS versions are 1.5, 2.2, and 3.4. I only have this problem when I run the PEK sequencer in [Keygates Seq Rst] mode. When i set the PEK to [sequencer only] or [sequencer or keyboard]...

Poly Evolver encoder advise
Hi - I'm about to buy a secondhand Poly Evolver, and I've read quite a few horror stories about unusable encoders. There's 2 available, one thats 2.5 years old and has had a board replaced due to this very problem, or there's another PEK thats less than a year old. They're both the same price. I'd a...

Re: Emu SP12 users?
Thanks Kenneth - Your second pic is almost the same as mine. I think this means we both have the same problem? This is what a guy on another forum said : it's some sort of offset problem in the sp12 analog to digital converter. the offset doesn't show up there because of ac coupling in either the sp...

Re: Emu SP12 users?
No matter how much I truncate the sample, the clicks always play. Nah, even when i edit the start and end, the clicks stay, they just move in. Check out this screen grab from soundforge. This is a recording of a 0.4sec sample that i took with the gain knob at zero and the input cable unplugged. as ...

Emu SP12 users?
Hi - I was wondering if any SP12 users could help me identify a fault. I foolishly bought an Emu SP12 without testing the sampling capabilities, and by the time i got around to it, it was too late to call the guy up. Anyway, I cant seem to sample anything without having a nasty click at the start an...

EMU SP12 channels?
Hi - I recently aquired a SP12 turbo, and I'm having trouble getting my head round the channel assignments, in terms of what sounds share a channel and will therefore cut each other off. There seems to be no MPC style mute grouping that i can find, but I want to sample hihats, and have the open and ...

Juno 60 + Kenton Pro DCB problem
Any help/ideas appriciated. I picked up a Kenton Pro DCB box yesterday to use with my Juno 60. I'm triggering notes from either a controller keyboard, or the pads on my mpc1000, and whenever I trigger more than one note at once, I start getting stuck notes. Using the juno as a controller works fine?...
