DSP chips
I remember in like 2005, someone posted on here a list of VAs and their companion dsp chips. Anyone got it?
I have little knowledge of the actual dsp components themselves , im quite interested as of late.
thanks

Santa forced me to buy a cheap S-612 with disk drive... he wanted to punish me with 1 sec. sample time, and 12-bit, 32khz resolution for being such a naughty synth purchased this year! If you re-arrange the letters of Santa you get.... SATAN! My mom gave me some loot for a virus...

Re: The Downside To an MPC 500
A smaller screen could be considered a downside. 4 less pads could also be. Cant beat the price tho. Got mine off the bay used for 400.SamGarvin wrote:Whats the downside to an MPC 500 compared to and MPC 1000? I know its a bit more menu diveing, but other then that?

One thing that pisses me off with the JP is that I cant see the damn midi data during realtime editing! Modulation is limited also.

Re: Abelton Live 6
Its probably a driver issue. I started using ableton 6 again, after 2 years(used 5 then)... when i booted it up and hooked up my midiman and mayausb card, took me 30 mins to get a result from re-installing drivers. I was just about to give up, and it finally worked. Are you using Vista or XP? Jay
