I am using a Traynor K4, and I like it a lot. I'm considering selling it and going to their K2, but I'm sticking with a
Traynor for now. I just sold a Roland RD700 and ordered a Juno Stage, which will be used for a gig on Dec 12. I am confident that the Stage will sound great through the K4.

Juno Stage users?
Any Juno Stage users, primarily gigging? I'm currently gigging with a Roland RD700, Hammond XK1, Alesis ION for 'boards, Traynor K4 and Motion Sound PRO-3X for amps. Recent surgery has me at the point of needing to cut down on some of the weight of my rig, so I'm likely going to sell the RD700 and c...

Re: Alesis Ion - saving/moving/storing
A long overdue thanx, I got it. I discovered I was on page 2 of the Store (sysex dump)
I used it last night with a bunch of sounds I tweaked, re-named and lined up
for the gig. Excellent.

Re: Alesis Ion - saving/moving/storing
Thanks for the pointer. I'll check the documents again, but I've already tried the procedure that's explained in the manual. I can store edits to programs, but I can't re-locate them, which is what I'm trying to do. I want to line-up sounds next to each other in the User bank for gig purposes. I 'sp...

Re: Alesis Ion - saving/moving/storing
I'll try again...I have a gig on saturday and I'd like to move some programs around. Any ION users out there willing to share the secret? I've edited programs and the Store button works, but not for moving sounds from one location to another. Any info on that is appreciated.
Thanx

Alesis Ion - saving/moving/storing
I searched around in here, but haven't found anything specific to my questions (yet!) I'm trying to 'save' (move) a program to a different location, ie: from a colored bank to the User bank. I follow the instructions from manual (pdf, don't have the real deal) and it seems simple enuff, even just tr...

Re: Another 'which one to buy'?
As of Friday night, I'm the proud owner of an Alesis Ion! The deal came with it's own gig bag. It's a bit thin for my liking, considering I'll be using it live, but I transport my own equip, and very carefully. I think the Ion is going to work out great for my needs. I appreciate the input from you ...

Re: Another 'which one to buy'?
why only VAs...? Price (I can't afford an Andromeda :) The real analogs (read 'older units') potentially could need repair before something newer like the Ion or R3. I plan on using the synth at home, but for gigs too. I just had 3 gigs in January, but nothing for a while now. I want to be comforta...

Re: Another 'which one to buy'?
Yes, all that input helps. I hope to check it out Friday night, and I'll make note of the issues that were mentioned. I hope it's a good board for gigging, as I plan to use it live. Any Mass folks know of synth repair shops around? (in the event of bad outputs etc, tho he says it's in great conditio...

Another 'which one to buy'?
Gang, I'm looking / will be buying, a 'lead synth', mostly 70's / 80's sounds. Spend my money...on: Brand New Korg R3 ($549) Used Alesis Ion ($475, don't know the 'board, haven't checked out the unit) Used Virus Indigo ($700, same as above, dunno it, haven't played it) Knobs etc are nice, not totall...

Re: Keyboard Stands
Looks good. Can you adjust the height of the tiers, move them closer together? I'm currently using a 2-tier Invisible stand, but may add a third 'board, so would like 3 tiers. I'd like to be able to adjust the space between the 'boards. This is for live and home, I'd be sitting/standing at it, 27" -...

Re: Korg R3 again
R3 owners, what are you using for a case? Custom-made?
Guitar Center has a 'no payments for a year' deal this month, and it's "Tax-Free" weekend here in Mass.
The temptation is great
Thanx in advance

Korg R3 again
Hi, Apologies up front for repeating myself  Are there any readers here (in Central Mass or nearby) that own a Korg R3? I'd really like to check one out, but I guess I missed the boat, and none of the local stores have it in stock. Or, I haven't come across it yet. I've gone to Korg's website,...
