thanks, I think I'll probably stick with the R8, as it sounds less complicated to use.

Another quick question, can you sequence a drum beat on the R8 and then assign it to the memory? So you can just press a button and it will play it?

I really need to find the best drum machine for no more than about 100 pounds. It'll mainly be used for electronica music.
