I don't have any experience with the other two systems they mentioned, but I usually recommend to anyone in that price range to just get a Mbox 2. You should be able to record into Live still... thought I may be wrong on that, and also Pro Tools is much much better for editing audio before you drop ...

Well... it actually is 150 watts, but I think this fits my price range better for right now. I could wait a couple of months and spend more money on the other options, but I think I'll save that money and use it elsewhere. Thanks for the advice, I will check out the amp tomorrow.

I use it in my band to play leads all the time, and I think it works great for leads and sfx type stuff. Of course it is really great for bass lines, but I don't use it for those purposes often because we have a bass player and I don't want him standing around doing nothing.
