Broken Horn/Tweet on my Roland KC-500

I have blown out my horn on my Roland KC-500 amp, and I need to get a replacement. I've called roland, and they want $165 for a new horn. This seems ridiculously expensive for just a single horn. Does anyone know of an alternative horn I can get that would work? Here are some specs: -150 watts RMS -...

I don't have any experience with the other two systems they mentioned, but I usually recommend to anyone in that price range to just get a Mbox 2. You should be able to record into Live still... thought I may be wrong on that, and also Pro Tools is much much better for editing audio before you drop ...

Thanks for the advice Spookyman and Tallowwater, I mangaged to get the amp for 300 flat with the taxes already included. I am very happy with it, and I might just try it in a stereo config in the future Tallowwaters. I am not sure how to use the separate A B channels yet, but I was just excited to j...

Well... it actually is 150 watts, but I think this fits my price range better for right now. I could wait a couple of months and spend more money on the other options, but I think I'll save that money and use it elsewhere. Thanks for the advice, I will check out the amp tomorrow.

Roland KC-500 amp?

I play in a 5 piece band with 2 guitars, bass, drums and myself on keys. I play a sh-101 (plenty loud) and a yamaha dx7 (not as loud). A local music shop has a kc-500 for 299 that I am interested in since I have no amplification, and having my own personal monitors on stage would be nice while still...

Is there anyway I can fix this battery drain? And where would I go to get it replaced?

As far as the video game sounds, I find that could be really cool. It just depends how you use it. I am confident I will get good sounds out of it, just how useful will they be is my question.

SC Multi-trak? Opinions?

My friend is selling me his multitrak for 80 dollars, I just have to buy it a new power supply and a couple of replacement keys. So about 180 for it in total, I was just wondering what everyone thinks of it? I am hoping to use it as another polyphonic board to complement my rig consisting of a SH101...

I use it in my band to play leads all the time, and I think it works great for leads and sfx type stuff. Of course it is really great for bass lines, but I don't use it for those purposes often because we have a bass player and I don't want him standing around doing nothing. :P
