synths; a renewed love
So i finally got 2 synths ( a microkorg and an SH-201, a beginners rig no doubt :lol:, now maybe ill stop posting only in the buyers guide! ) and i gotta say now that im actually playing and discovering what synths can do ive fallen in love all over again......started on bass, ive since taken up gui...

i think it might be, but then again i dunno when u hit puberty lol...try just runnin through scales in different keys and maybe sit down at a piano and sing along with scales too and try and match the tones...i dunno if thats more warm up related tho, but it helps me...

Alot of people's voices are annoying, and not just there singing ones....Since you've had a teacher in the past then your voice should be pretty good, but i mean i dont know all the much about singing, i just know what i like, and well sometimes short comings in peoples voices can give them that sig...

Why not some private vocal classes? I tend to find teachers more helpful then books, but thats just me....

I could see myself getting over the issue of the pads for either the roland or the RS, im really not to picky when it comes to that (mostly because this will be my first production/groove center)....also, PC editing wouldnt be a problem for me....but what was it about the RS sounds that you liked so...

Could i install my friend's soft synth on my CPU if i do that? or can they only install on one CPU? (i know that windows XP allows 3 installations per disc) And if i cant then id have to buy a soft synth, and thatd raise the price...And where are you getting $900? Summa says itd be about 450 euros.....
