Rev. 1 Jupiter 4 sounds super great. Rev 2 is ok as well but much easier to find. To me: Jupiter 4 Rev 1>Jup-6>Jupiter 4 Rev 2>106 . If you're not hardcore about sounding retro, switch the JP-6 and Rev 1 JP-4 there. The Jupiter 6 gets some flack for some reason but it is really great as you get a ni...

I personally would keep the Jupiter 4. The going rates for old drum machines with stuff like the Machinedrum UW and Maschine 1.6 around are pretty ridiculous for non-collectors. I just saw a Korg Radias go for 450 dollars on eBay; if in fact there is no demand for that synth I would say pick one of those up immediately as it will give you all the tools you'd need to lay the foundation for that kind of sound. There's a lot of nice VSTs out there that will give you the effect...
