I need to replace some keys on an Ensoniq VFXSD which I believe uses a Fatar Manufacturered Keyboard Assembly. I have released the spring and also the holding tab but there's something holding the key from releasing from the keyboard bed. I have not removed the keyboard bed assembly from the chassis...

Thanks for the replies but the hard drive works fine. Knowing the bad history on these machines I fairly certain that it's the connector between the two keyboards. My question remain is what do I do if I see it's a 20 pin connector. Have a great New Years everybody and you other VFXSD players..........

The OS disk is fine as it's will load my other VFX-SD.

One other piece of information is that Ensoniq states to quickly turn on and off the equipment I believe seven times. This does nothing but it could be because of a bad battery which I have a replacement to install.
