Re: Tips plz
You don't need two of them though, just double track a single synth with slightly different settings. I do this all the time with synths and fx. You'll need to control the 1000 with midi anyway, so it shouldn't be any hard to do it with just one. True, I always do that with my PolySix. But it would...

Re: VSE iPhone app
There must be a way to create an app that keeps track of current prices, by averaging them from various sources, or creating a range (from €... - €... or dollars). Problem here is that it cost money to build such an app. Or are there VSE members (professional programmers) that know how to create the...

Re: VSE iPhone app
That is also true. An app could make these more accurate, by taking an average of prices from different websites and stores.Hair wrote:should be noted that VSE prices are incredibly out of date for the most part

VSE iPhone app
Not sure where to post this one, so I am dumping it here. After searching the forums at VSE, I found out no one ever requested an iPhone app (or other phone type) of the Vintage Synth Explorer site. It would be great to have the complete database as an app, available everywhere. If you load the webs...

Re: Tips plz
That's exactly the reason why I am looking for 2 matrix 1000's, I read it on another forum though
Seems logical, since a nice mixing trick I use to widen sounds is the stereo pitch shifter in Pro Tools HD and detune one side a few cents.

Re: Tips plz
I've come to the somewhat depressing conclusion that there is a very close correlation between bigness of sound and cost. Hahahaha, great signature! I'll quote you on that :) The MKS-70 is an interesting tip, thnx. I'll dive into that. In the meantime I am bidding on 2 matrix-1000's to create one s...

Tips plz
I am looking for something as big sounding as an Oberheim OB-8 or OB-12, but not as expensive. The matrix-1000 is a nice example, but what other options are there?
