Thanks for that important addition and clarification, Steve. I still see mostly unregulated wall warts in my repair shop. I suspect that the Zoom's wart (at least the USA version) is unregulated - simply a transformer, diode bridge, and (hopefully) a capacitor - and that the necessary regulation tak...

The more current a wall wart has to supply, the more it's voltage will sag. Wall warts are designed to supply their rated voltage at their rated current. The output voltage will be higher if less current is drawn. For example, a wall wart rated at 9 V, 1000 mA might put out 12 volts at 50 mA. You ca...

MT, Good effort on the torn key contact. I'll have to try that stuff. Make sure the rubber contact cup can breathe. Maybe poke a pin hole in it so air can flow. As far as I know, you can order the D50 volume slider from Roland at 323-890-3700. I believe the part number is 13359355. It's a 10k linear...
