Re: Softsynth equivalents
Gotta mention z3ta+. It sounds as big and rich as the Virus.
There's even a z3ta+ Virus mod floating around.

Anyone have anymore history on the ANS synthesizer by Evgeny Murzin than is on wiki?

Re: Opinions Wanted: Waldorf
So wavetables sound better than VA? I have a Korg MS2000 and it sounds kind of thin.
I've never heard a wavetable synth in person.

Re: Opinions Wanted: Waldorf
Anyone a/b compared the Blofeld against the Access Ti Snow?
I only ask because I've played the Snow and loved it.

Re: Opinions Wanted: Waldorf
I'd spend up to 8k if the synth was really worth it. Just bought a Moog Voyager and it was worth every penny.
I'll research the Microwave XT and the Q, thanks.
Edit: Wife says there's no way I'm spending 8k on a synth, so I'll just have to start hiding the money now.

Opinions Wanted: Waldorf
I'm planning to buy a Waldorf synth for making electronic music and would like to know what the best sounding, most interesting and fun one to use there is, price and new or old not a problem.

Re: Making the switch to software. Clueless...
I've been using ACID Pro since 3.0 and it's always been great for VST's and sequencing.tekkentool wrote:tip: don't use acid. it's not very good for sequencing and using softsynths.
That's a pretty immature thing to say.tekkentool wrote:acid is for loop posers.
